The rapid development of the new energy vehicle industry has driven demand for power battery recycling and reuse. Typically, lithium batteries are retired after 5-8 years of use. Used lithium batteries contain a large amount of rare metals. Discarding them recklessly can cause environmental pollution and waste. Lithium-ion batteries can be categorized as NMC, LCO, and LFP. The metal content of NMC batteries is as follows: nickel: 22.1%, cobalt: 9.3%, manganese: 10.5%, lithium: 3.9%, copper: 13.3%, and aluminum: 12.7%. Lithium battery recycling equipment discharges, disassembles, crushes, and sorts used lithium batteries. The recovered positive and negative electrode materials (black matter), copper, aluminum, iron, and other metals are then refined and reprocessed to extract raw materials, thereby achieving resource recovery. Lithium battery recycling equipment offers advantages such as low energy consumption, safety, efficiency, and high recovery rates. The recovery rate for positive and negative electrode materials is as high as over 98%. Copper and aluminum recovery rates are also above 98%. Lithium recovery rates are over 90%, and nickel and cobalt metal recovery rates are over 95%.
